HRM is multifaceted, and each area of responsibility plays a specific role in an organization's success. Some organizations place more emphasis on one task over another. For this discussion forum, evaluate the list of eight practices or activities whose purposes are to attract, retain, and motivate qualified employees. These practices are strategic HR planning, job analysis and design, recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, training and development, compensation, and benefits administration.
