The Inability Theory: To be disabled is to be less able to do something than is typical, where this degree of inability is partly explained by features of your body that are atypical. (Gregory, 2020, 5).

According to this view, it is necessary, for something to count as a disability, that it be a lack of an ability that is typical or that most people have. Why does Gregory need to include this clause?
