I. In text and in lecture, we learned that people may have different types of relationships with a product. Choose a product with which you have one of the following types of relationships and explain it to us: self-concept attachment, nostalgic attachment, interdependence and love. You may recall that I gave examples of these in the recorded lecture, so if you're not sure what to do, refer back to that?

II. What are you experiencing out there in the world of marketing that seems ethically sketchy? I'm looking for your real life encounters with these things. Good places to look are the areas of marketing communication, pricing, packaging, fine print- any way a company may have manipulated you or deceived you in a way that technically isn't illegal. Think about the psychology behind whatever you observe. Why do you think the company would do what they did? How did it make you feel? How do you think it will affect the brand in the long term?

III. Do you like to shop? For everything or just some things? Which things do you like to shop for and which do you dislike shopping for? Why do you like shopping for the things you like? Can you identify the reasons that you dislike shopping for certain things? How can manufacturers and retailers make this better/easier for you? (Make sure you respond to these last two questions.)
