Reflective Learning Journal and Reflective Summary This assessment task requires you to submit:
Part A: Reflective Learning Journal
You are required to keep a reflective learning journal for topics 1-5 that reflects on the journal prompt/question that is listed in each of the topics on the myLearn site.
Each reflection response should be about 150 words in length, with 750 words for Part A.

Week 1
List 10 things that you consider strengths when you reflect on your personal life, your family, your community, or social environment.
Write a short 150-word summary/reflection:
Week 2
How has your understanding of the way in which Aboriginal people see the world changed? What implications might this have in your professional, personal, or educational practice?
Week 3
Having had a brief look at the Aboriginal World View (Week 2) and the history of race relations in Australia (Week 3), what do you make of the current debate around the constitutional recognition of Indigenous Australians or the signing of treaty?
Week 4
Why do you think Kevin Rudd's Apology is seen as a significant gesture?
Week 5
What does it mean to be in the social group or category (class, race, gender) which is advantaged or privileged in some way? What do we do with those
Privileges?
Part B: Reflective Summary
After completing the five journal prompts in your Reflective Learning Journal in Part A, write a Reflective Summary of your learning journey over the first five weeks of this unit. Your Reflection should follow the Gibbs' Reflective Model as the framework. Within your Reflective summary, discuss the journey you have gone on throughout the first five weeks and provide an analysis of the significance of the knowledge you have gained and how this will benefit you in your profession and career. Please use the five journal prompts from weeks 1-5 as a starting point for your reflection and ensure your reflective summary includes:
1.A description of the content learning
A discussion of your feelings and thinking as you engaged with this content
An evaluation of positive and negative experiences
An analysis of your learning in the unit
A conclusion identifying possible gaps in your knowledge
An action plan, outlining the way in which you will apply your knowledge and learning to your professional, study and/or personal life
Your Reflective Summary should be no less than 750 words and no more than 825 words
You must refer explicitly to the literature, activities, and topics throughout your reflective summary and use it to substantiate and/or problematize your thinking/writing
The Reflective Summary must refer to at least five academic sources
Part A and Part B should be submitted in a single word document
