"Happy Endings"
In this example of metafiction, Margaret Atwood presents a typical plot that readers would find in romance literature and then provides several different endings to create the typical "happy ending" of this literary genre. But what's the purpose of such a writerly experiment?
For this activity, read "Happy Endings" and respond to the following questions:
