Q. The party that can accept an offer is the offeree. Carrie can revoke her offer by selling to Norvel because Antonio never committed to buying the encyclopaedias. He said that he had to think about it and he would let her know the next day. The offeree (Antonio) never totally accepted the offer because he did not commit to the offer because he said he would think about it let and her know the next day. If Antonio said that he was going to accept the offer and he would give her the cash the next day, then he would have a legally binding contract. The legally binding contract was among Norvel and Carrie. Carrie made the offer to sell to Antonio, Novel overhead the conversation for the offer. Norvel knowing Antonio did not commit to the offer, so he accepted the offer.
