Law and Morality

People sometimes confuse legality and morality, since (1) breaking the law is not always or necessarily immoral, and (2) just because an action is legal does not guarantee that it is morally right.

Without using the examples cited in Chapter 1, share an example of (1) and an example of (2) above. Explain your two choices. Comment on selections made by other students.
