Problem

Barbara works as a community resource advocate for a rural family services agency in Mosquito County, FL. She has noticed that a significant number of her clients miss appointments due to respiratory infections, and that it is not uncommon for clients who do keep their appointments to arrive exhibiting symptoms of a variety of such infections. Barbara herself has experienced several respiratory infections, and it seems to her that their frequency has increased since she began her current job. What are some of the possible reasons why Barbara's clients would experience a high rate of acute respiratory infections? What can you Audrey do to reduce her clients' high rate of infections (as well as her own)? Should this issue even be Barbara's concern; if not, who should be involved?
