The first session is a 500-word summary of your emerging understanding of the image of child as capable and competent with reference to major theories and contemporary within the context of early childhood education. You are also expected to write an observation from the listed video and analyze how the example demonstrates children's capabilities and competence. Please use strength-based language in both the observation and analysis. Your observation and analysis should reflect your image of the child/children and how you understand them.
