Pilot Testing
When designing a course, you must perform a needs analysis and ensure that your course will be able to fulfill the needs, such as the learning outcomes sought (the outcomes that you hope to accomplish), and be the best in terms of structure, sequence, and instructional design. These needs must be addressed, and various methods can help you gather the data to ensure that these needs are met. The methods that you can use are questionnaires, achievement test data from different groups, content analysis, and student exit questionnaires. All the information gathered from student responses and conferences is used to analyze and improve both instruction and the curriculum.
