Police at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis have arrested a man who allegedly used his cell phone to record video of other men inside a restroom.

Durrell Garrison, 19, Indianapolis, used an iPhone to record video of other men using the restroom inside the Science, Engineering & Technology Building, according to an affidavit from IUPUI Police.

At 4 p.m. Thursday, a man reportedly entered a restroom on the first floor. While using the urinal, the man noticed a white iPhone with a cracked screen being slid between the wall and the neighboring bathroom stall at waist level. The man also heard moaning from within the stall, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The man exited the restroom and notified police. When officials arrived, the man said no one had been in or out of the bathroom since he exited.

Police entered the restroom to find Garrison, who admitted to taking video of other men using the urinal. Police searched the existing videos and photos on the phone with Garrison's permission and found an additional video of a man using the restroom, the report said.
Police arrested Garrison on voyeurism and public indecency charges. Police also discovered he had an open warrant for arrest.
