Mrs Glenda Burton is a sprightly lady of 78 years of age who treasures her independence and every Friday goes to her local shopping centre where she meets up with her friend Rhonda. Mrs Burton has been a little unsteady on her feet of late, though moves around without any aids. Her GP recently prescribed Karvea to help regulate her blood pressure and Anginine tablets ever since she had episodes of chest pain a few months ago. Today is Friday and she goes to her local shopping centre as normal. She goes directly to her favourite café where she will meet Rhonda. On her way, she experiences some dizziness and becomes unsteady on her feet. She stops for a bit and then continues on, but the dizziness returns and she loses balance and falls to the floor. You are passing by and witness her fall. You saw that Glenda sustained a laceration on the right upper arm. You assessed the scene/surroundings. It was safe, so you provided first aid to her.
