1. There are testing techniques that can help Jennifer and her father reduce the employee turnover rate. Physical exams can be done to make sure the employee is physically fit for the job. Substance abuse screening can be done to make sure the employee will be reliable for the job. A written honesty test can can predict employees honesty. The company would be at an advantage to use the honesty test. "Most measure attitudes regarding things like tolerance of others who steal and admission of theft-related activities" (Dessler 193).

2. The reliability of a test is really only determined by how often it is used to make it have good validity. Although validity only finds the certain factors that should be tested. Reliability is based on consistency, for example like going to work everyday. While validity is based on accuracy to see if the outcomes come out to what you are looking for. When testing the new HR person you will use different factors that would be good to have in a candidate for the position. If the person gives the expected factors they are looking for this can make the test feel very valid. The best thing to make the test good is making the test and the person you are testing pretty close together.
