Business Proposal Customer and Consumer Research
So far, you have identified a service or product you'd like to offer and you've researched a few of your competitors. Now, you're going to research your target customers and the costs of starting up. You should provide at least 2 pieces of research for this post. Make sure to cite the research appropriately.
- Who is your target customer or client? BE SPECIFIC
- What is the size of the market? How many people might need what you're selling or doing?
- What are the benefits of your product or service for your target audience?
- What startup costs will you need to consider? Think about the following: parts, manufacturing, packaging, labor, transportation, rent for equipment or space, etc.
- To calculate start-up costs
- Based on the target customer and your startup costs, how much will you charge?
Be sure to COMMENT on at least TWO posts from other students. This is part of your grade. In your comments, consider:
1. Sharing another resource that could help them identify their customer demographics or business costs.
2. Discussing whether or not you think the start-up costs are accurate and why.
3. Discussing whether or not you think the cost for their product or service would be a fair number that would also bring profits.
4. Talking about their idea from the perspective of a future client or customer.
5. Discussing costs they may not have considered or a customer base or demographic they could reach out to.
