Question: In the video Tackling the Stigma Surrounding Disability and Sexuality, Andrew Gurza says that the main reason there is stigma attached to disability and sex is: fear, due to lack of exposure and no positive role models in media disgust, as part of our cultural sexual scripts in the US is that sex with someone who is disabled means you are deviant exhaustion, a relationship with someone who is disabled automatically places the healthy person in a care-taking relationship and that is a huge amount of work disinterest, disabled people aren't really interested in or capable of enjoying sex so they don't pursue sexual relationships
