Carami is a small e-commerce business.
Research their website, video, social channels, and anything else you may be able to find online about the business.
You have been hired as their PR consultant to help them develop a PR campaign for the holidays.
The client objective is to grow their online sales during the holiday season.
To help you construct the PR campaign, you must conduct some research and planning.
As part of the assignment which will be reviewed by the client, you need to answer these questions:
1. What are some questions you may want to ask the client (the business owner)? Phrase the questions as if you were asking them directly to them.
2. What are some of the brand messages? Please provide 2-3 key brand messages in brief.
3. What are the objectives of the campaign? Indicate if they are informational and/or motivational and/or behavioral?
4. Who do you think is their target audience? What are the different segments?
5. What are the characteristics of the audience/segments (demographic and psychographic)?
6. What research would you recommend to the client and why? Is it primary and/or secondary? Qualitative/quantitative? (can pick more than one but needs to make sense)
7. Based on question 6), can you provide an example of the research method you may recommend (e.g. if questionnaire, can you provide an example of the questions you may ask)?
8. What media channel(s) could be relevant to the audience and why? (provide data)
9. Do you have any other recommendations to the client? (Tip: Avoid general statements and research the client to provide constructive feedback).
