o What are the key persuasive techniques used in advertising for your selected product or service? Illustrate with specific examples, explaining how each technique works.
o Whether any of the following critical issues that related or connected with you product or service:
o Children and advertising
o Advertising in schools
o Health and advertising
o Political advertising
o Includes one example of a commercial or advertisement of your product or service that strikes you as particularly creative and appealing. Consider some of the following questions:
o What are the elements that are unusual?
o What is the target group of the commercial?
o How does the commercial appeal to consumers?
o Why do you believe this commercial to be effective in brand name recognition?
o Who determines ethical standards for advertising?
o How are ethical standards met (or pushed to their limits)?
· Summarizes the ways in which advertising has affected American culture.

Answers reflect critical thought, an understanding of the course materials, and are comprehensive in nature. Major points are clearly stated and supported.
The introduction provides sufficient background on the topic and previews major points.
The conclusion is logical, flows from the body of the paper, and reviews the major points.Readability and Style
The tone is appropriate to the content and assignment.
Sentence and slide transitions are present and maintain the flow of thought.
The presentation is laid out with effective use of headings, font styles, and white space.
Mechanics
The presentation and speaker notes -including tables and graphs, headings, title slide, and reference slide- is consistent with academic guidelines. Intellectual property is recognized with in-text citations and a reference slide.
