Doofensmirtz an evil scientist, knows of the contract and the terms between Phineas and Ferb. Doofensmirtz wants Phineas to buy his ideas instead of Ferb's, so Doofensmirtz builds a "convince - o - nater" to hypnotize Phineas. Phineas succumbs to the hypnosis and breaks his contract with Ferb telling him he must buy the ideas from Doofensmirtz. Someone is getting sued.
