Question: Atheism differs in the origin of the universe in that it just came into existence because there was a need for it to exist. Atheists believe the universe has always existed and will always exist without any outside source putting everything into motion. In Christianity, God is the reason for the universe coming into existence from nothing. God put the universe into action; it was through God's will that the universe came into existence. In most aspects, Atheism and Christianity do not agree but in the aspect of the universe being a miraculous miracle of nature, they agree. The only thing that separates the ideology between both is that one believes that there was divine intervention for the universe to sprout life. The difference in someone's ideology or belief system about how the universe came to be can impact the way someone lives their life. If someone believes that there is no God, then there is no moral standard by which to live your life. Since the dawn of time, even if it was not Christianity, there have been false Gods that set rules to which you have to abide those rules were set as a clear boundary. Without any boundaries, there is no moral or ethical line that can be drawn.
