Human Resource has a strategic role which is also transactional in a majority organization today and should be given a seat at the C-Suite table because they are the glue that ties the workers and executive levels together. No one person is better than another, each one just has a special skill set that sets them apart for the job that they do. This is one role that Human Resources performs to ensure that human capital is at the top of their game. Human Resources departments today are more than just administration roles, which also varies depending on the size of the organization (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart & Wright, 2021). Human Resources has transformed into roles that advise top-level management as well as those roles that can also make decisions on things such as compensation of the top-level executive.
Problem 1: HR should be strategic but then you use the word transactional and the two do not agree. So, if say the words "transactional" and "transformational", which would you prefer to apply to a good HR and why?
