Question: You are doing your NURS 425 leadership project hours with a quality assurance manager. He asks you to do a small project to determine if there is an effect of patient education on length of hospital stay (defined as number of days i.e., 1, 2, 3 days, etc). Three groups of post CABG patients were studied. Group one received written education materials only; group two received face-to face education from a nurse; group three received both written materials and face-to-face education from a nurse. The groups were then compared to see if there was a difference in the mean number of hospital days between the groups. Which would be the most appropriate test to analyze these data?
