Question: Peer review is literature based on the validity, quality, and understanding of the originality of the article. It helps to sift out invalid or poor articles to be used for research. The peer review functions as the filter for content and directing better quality articles to use better quality journals and it can also be used in creating journal brands. Tegan George (2021) discussed how it can enhance the credibility of the manuscript and that academic journals are the ones that refer to the most credible sources. It helps improve the quality of published papers by motivating other authors to submit quality work which would also help improve the work through peer review. Some peer-reviewed articles still have imperfections or inaccuracies and demonstrate that the most rejected papers will go on to be published elsewhere.

The peer-reviewed literature is important to the research community and me as a practitioner leader it serves to uphold the quality of the literature in the scientific knowledge base (Koshy et al., 2018). It helps to filter out poor research and reviews. A peer-reviewed article is an instrumental tool being that there is more faith put into the "scientific journals". It helps to not only improve the peer-reviewed article but, to filter the articles that come in. It helps with the intent of improving the ultimate finished product and is considered an invaluable tool for the authors to allow them to produce a more polished article.
