Assignment:

I work in the Legal & Regulatory Department at Pemberley Regional Medical Center. The CEO, Mr. Darcy, has recently become aware of a spate of Stark Law enforcement actions in connection with physician compensation arrangements. I need to write a policy which will govern the physician contracting process at Pemberley Regional in order to:

1) ensure compliance with the Stark Law; and

2) ensure that the organization is protected in the event that an arrangement is scrutinized.

The policy should include Fair Market Value Standard and the Volume or Value Standard and the Indirect Compensation Arrangement in accordance with Stark Law and CMS requirements
