1. I believe that the author chose to place a very strong emphasis on the word "faith" because it is a crucial thing to a follower of Jesus Christ whether we redeem ourselves from the punishment of sin that we humans all deserve, which shows what distinguishes Christians from non-Christians. The loyalty and belief in God can't exist when you do not have any faith, you always have to keep the faith. The author also inspires his readers to to maintain and keep faith throughout life. Having the confidence in God in the face of adveirsity by using different examples you see in the Old Testament books faith. Overall keeping the faith is a crucial topic, keep faith in the Lord. It also gives us the ability to put our full faith in God's, The Lord gives his promises and good morales.

2. I feel that "better things" that God will deliver his people through Jesus salvation and forgiveness. His people can also be delivered through the grip of death and sin. This means the sacrificial death of Jesus was on the cross. The Holy Spirit is filled with God's given people, having the gift of the Holy Spirit. The new Identity in Christ is something that God gives to his people, his followers receive a new identity as God's children. You have to have faith in Jesus himself, especially since he died on the cross for our sins.

3. When it comes to sins, Christians having any type of sin can weigh down on them. Even if it is a small one, even though all sins are wrong, certain sins have a greater negative effect on a Christians walk. Their are so many things that can stir you away from your faith, by listening to God and keeping your faith I feel like you will feel different. A lot of people worry about their flaws and past doings, having faith in God will help you feel like a different person, Basically feeling at peace and free.
