Question: Multinational corporations play a huge role in the global business environment. Multinational corporation is a corporation that has a company in its country as well as other countries. Besides having the main corporation in its own country, the MNC does an investment in another country through setting up another operation there. There are different types of multinational corporations. There is international division which handles all the operations in foreign markets. There is also decentralized corporations which the company has many locations at home and abroad, and they all have their own specific management structure. Next there is global centralized corporation which is where there is a main headquarters in its country where it began. There is also transnational corporation, it is marked by a parent subsidiary relationship, where the leadership structure is centralized. Multinational companies play a huge role in maintaining the production and marketing in other countries to circulate more profit. It also allows foreign firms to sell product for more sales and product. Multi corporations also help provide employment throughout countries which provides more wealth for the countries, employees, and corporations.
