Scenario

Clark is a middle-aged homeless man who struggles with his mental health. He is generally a quiet and reserved man who keeps to himself, and as such, he isn't particularly interested in interacting with other clients or staff. He attends First Access to help with his mental health when he can't cope on his own and the evening food service for the homeless at the shelter First Access runs. He is very particular about what he eats and doesn't like his food to be mixed up together. Unfortunately, the staff at the facility have recently been serving his food all mixed together.

When this occurs, Clark refuses to eat what has been served, which often results in him being given chicken with gravy - something that he really doesn't like or with him leaving without a meal. This has been causing him a lot of distress, and he has been displaying challenging behaviours in the dining area, including arguing loudly with the staff.
