She has lost interest in activities she once enjoyed, struggles with concentrating and making decisions, and often feels hopeless about her future. Mary finds it challenging to get out of bed in the morning and has experienced changes in her appetite and sleep patterns. She has withdrawn from social interactions, feeling disconnected from her friends and family. Mary's depression has started to affect her work performance, and she has been calling in sick frequently. She has decided to seek help from a professional.
