J mns a small business manufacturing personalised stationery (such as envelopes and paper). She has recently decided to automate parts of this process, meaning that all four of her current staff members will see their overtime pay reduced (?icugh there will be no effect on their basic pay).

The main activities of each staff member will not change signi?cantly as a result of the introduction of automation.

J feels that the current overtime payments are unsupportable and that the business will be unable to grow unless the new system is introduced.

Local competitors are already currently using this automated process.
