Cholesterol was elevated at the last visit 6 months ago, and in response the patient has changed their diet and increased their exercise regimen. The patient does not smoke, and vital signs are all within normal limits. A repeating fasting lipid panel is ordered at this visit, the results are below: LDL= 190mg/dl HDL=35 md/dl Triglycerides=200 mg/dl The patient does not have any causes for secondary hyperlipidemia, and a liver panel is within normal levels. Their 10-year ASCVD risk score is 11%. Which medication(s) should be initiated?
