Select a self-priming centrifugal pump to handle 350 gpm of water for a project as described. The pump will be placed 15 ft above the water source. The water will be drawn from the source using 4-in. steel pipe.

There will be a 20-ft vertical section with a foot valve and strainer at its lower end. A 90° elbow will join the vertical pipe to 10ft of horizontal pipe that connects to the pump.

From the pump discharge there is 100 ft of horizontal pipe with a check valve in the line. At the far end of the discharge pipe there is another 90° elbow, which joins the horizontal pipe to 42 ft of vertical pipe. At the tip of this vertical pipe there is still a third 90° elbow and 8 ft of horizontal discharge pipe.
