Question: The Brute interested me the most after reading the two short stories, Brute is a story about a ship which is named The Apse Family, which could possibly be cursed, later on we find out it is actually not cursed and just had an awful design. They originally thought it was cursed because one person dies a year while working on the ship, but eventually they realized it was the bad design and the ship itself that caused these deaths. Solely on the design of the boat the first thing I thought of was economics and engineering. There are also many other aspects to this story such as the political aspect when talking about how there was a politician trying to protect the ships and the sailors as well. There are clearly a lot of aspects in this story that make it interesting and keep people interested in what's to come next and that is through all the many elements which is what makes this story an interdisciplinary piece.
