In the first section of the presentation, students will conduct research domino's (DPZ) and Papa John's (PZZA and the industry to provide a summary of the following:

Provide an overview of each of the selected companies including what they do, i.e., what are their products or services, how have they organized as a business corporately owned or franchised with how many locations, where they do what they do, i.e., are, do they function as a brick-and-mortar company or Internet-based and who they do it for, i.e., who are in their target demographic?

Share a general overview of the current financial health of each of the selected firms are they dependent on disposable income such as luxury or niche products or are they primarily offering necessities such as recession-proof consumer goods, or something else?

Detail the industry that these companies operated within and explain any current trends potentially impacting the selected firms now or in the near future.

Financial Assessment: In this second (most important) section of the presentation, students must assess, interpret, and compare the financial ratios they have calculated for both firms. Students will perform a side-by-side analysis of both companies and address the following questions on slides dedicated to each set of ratios, i.e., a slide for profitability ratios, a slide for asset management ratios, etc. Use your voice-over narration to address the following questions:

Which firm has better profitability ratios? Why?

Which firm has better asset management ratios? Why?

Which firm has better liquidity ratios? Why?

Which firm has better debt management ratios? Why?

Which firm has better market value ratios? Why?
