Bill is a 32-year old man who presents today with 4 days of fever and headache and a rash that began this morning. The rash is flat and not itchy and is comprised of multiple red areas scattered across his trunk, arms and legs. Bill reports that he went camping last week with his sons in the North Carolina mountains. He does not recall being bitten by a tick. The patient denies any illness contacts.
