Dr. Traci Lynn's recipe for success is to set a goal and worry about the means later. Her faith in God kept her attitude positive, also. Traci loved fashion and teaching/mentoring women on how to become successful. Traci is also a people person. Traci wanted to engage in a business that would support and empower women with a low entry cost, help solve financial problems, and promote confidence.

Dr. Traci Lynn exemplifies effectuation by creating a great inexpensive product that would in turn generate motivation for success. She started her jewelry business again in 3 states in 2006, and went national in 2008. She utilized the patchwork quilt principle by soliciting input from consultants concerning product options. Traci also reviewed sales data, along with other factors to keep her product unique and affordable. She also had to consider longevity of the product. She was very meticulous with every aspect of her "revived" business. It worked, too.

Dr. Traci Lynn demonstrated several competencies which contribute to her success, but I will only talk about two of them - leadership and motivation. Dr. Lynn is and continues to be a motivational speaker all over the world. She has changed the lives of millions of women all over the world by her jewelry business and her inspiration. At a very early age, Traci realized she was a strong leader with great skills in sales and organization. I am very impressed by her eclectic background. She had a solo business at 14 years of age; She ventured into the corporate world, a franchise owner, but eventually found her way back to her love - jewelry. Like we have all found out, in order to be successful as a entrepreneur, you must be passionate about your business. This case was very interesting to me and I will go out to her site to check out her jewelry.
