The law forbids all advertisements in the state in any form, including TV, radio, electronic and print media, billboards, pamphlets, and signs on any building. In support of the law, the state legislators argued that when young, unmarried people can easily find contraceptives, they are more likely to have sex, which can transmit infections, and is also immoral.
