Question: Qualitative research can contribute to evidence based practice in a number of ways. First, qualitative findings are useful for understanding the context in which health care services are delivered, which can help nurses and other providers improve their practices. Second, qualitative data can help nurses understand how different patients respond to different forms of treatment or interventions and how those responses impact their health outcomes (Kozleski, 2017). Third, qualitative data can provide nurses with evidence that supports their professional beliefs and values, which are important for developing effective nursing interventions and practices. Qualitative findings contribute to evidence-based practice by providing a more holistic view of the issue at hand. They give us a better understanding of what is happening in real life situations--for example, what nurses are experiencing when they work with patients at home or in their own communities (Kozleski, 2017). Qualitative findings help nurses identify patterns that may not be easily observed with quantitative data alone. This allows nurses s to develop more effective interventions based on these patterns. Qualitative research helps practitioners identify new avenues for research on a particular topic or problem area that may not have been available before because no one has ever done this kind of work before. I would choose the ethnographic qualitative method. The ethnographic qualitative method is a form of qualitative research that uses observational methods and participant observation as its foundation. Ethnographic qualitative research methods are important in nursing research because they allow researchers to study the health care system from multiple perspectives. The method allows them to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how people experience their health care system and how it may be affecting them (Kian & Beach, 2019). Ethnographic qualitative research has also been shown to be effective at collecting data that can be used in other types of qualitative research designs, such as interviews, focus groups, and case studies. This method also helps nurses make connections between different aspects of their work and other aspects of their lives, which can help them develop a more holistic view of their patients' health needs.
