Task 1: understanding organisations. Here are some examples of different types of organisations

Group presentation
a 15 minute in-class student led seminar, which you will deliver in small groups about half-way through the module. You will have the opportunity to present a formative student led seminar and gain feedback from your tutor and peers before the assessed student led seminars. The questions are available via the module learning room on NOW.

We expect all students to contribute according to the NBS group work policy (the policy document and the peer assessment form are available in the module learning room on NOW). Everyone must submit a completed peer assessment form via NOW.

Individual coursework
After the three weeks of teaching on the module, during week 4, the individual coursework task asks you to write a 2,000-word essay. The essay questions are available via the module learning room on NOW.
Please present your individual coursework in essay format:
a short introduction
discuss your key arguments in the main body

Conclusion
list of references (all 2,000 words are for your essay text; the list of references at the end are excluded from the wordcount)
