Assignment - Important Field Conversations Literature Review

Description - Begin working on the first phase of your literature review. Using a variety of sources, identify three important conversations happening in your field of study right now(Criminal Justice). What are people in your field talking about? What are the issues or challenges that your field is facing? What is the latest and most important research about? How is your field being envisioned for the future? Your sources can be professional magazines or websites, scholarly journals and articles, conversations with professionals or educators in your field, research librarians, and other reliable sources. Choose the three conversations that interest you most with at least one conversation being one that you think you'd like to explore for your advocacy project. For each of the three conversations, I'd like for you to write 400+ words, including the following information:

1. What the topic is and why the conversation around it is important in your field (exigence);

2. Where you found the conversation taking place (see above-include titles of publications, website URLs for scholarly sources, names of professionals or educators);

3. Who in your field is talking about it (theorists, working professionals, researchers, educators, etc.);

4. At least three different perspectives on the topic of conversation; and

5. At least three questions you have about the topic or conversation.
