Case Study: Pick two peer-reviewed journal articles that focus on evaluating some applied aspect of protected areas (e.g. success factors; management effectiveness; impact; social; economic or ecological outcomes); one from a less developed/Global South country context and one from a more developed/Global North country.Use the articles to discuss the role of social context (socio-economic, cultural, political, governance)may have played in influencing both the approach and outcomes of the MPA(s) described in the papers.
