Problem

All of the New Testament Gospels agree that Jesus and his first disciples were Jewish, and they are all set in the Galilee and Judea of the first century BCE. However, each of the Gospels has distinct techniques for depicting Jesus's connections to Judaism.

For this problem, use your knowledge of Judaism to identify at least two specific points of contact with Judaism in each of the 4 Gospel chapters assigned (Matthew 5, Mark 1, Luke 4, John 1).
