Solve the all parts of following problem given below:
Problem: Consider a thunderstorm that extends 10km from the ground to the top of the storm. If the vertical velocity in the center of the storm is w=10ms-1.
Part A: Estimate the horizontal convergence or divergence at the top and bottom of the storm.
Part B: Where is the flow divergent and where is it convergent?
Part C: If the storm is 10km wide, how fast will the horizontal wind speed be at the top and bottom of the storm? Assume that the flow is non divergent in 3 dimensions.
