Question 1. Students at State University want to protest the hiring of a new science professor that is an outspoken advocate of "designer babies" where scientists use CRISPR technology to make a fetus that will grow up with the sought after traits (i.e. tall, athletic, etc.) The administrators at State University don't want any more controversy, so they tell security to take down any protest signs and remove any students from the center of campus, even the Catholic student group that applied and were approved to have a prayer meeting on campus. Did the administration violate anyone's Constitutional rights? If so, how? What could the administrators do to reduce protests and not violate anyone's rights?

Question 2. Students from HPU have applied to have a demonstration on campus to support a full ban on Muslims entering the United States. Additionally, the demonstration will advocate for extensive gun-control restrictions. Although the HPU students met all the requirements to have the demonstration, the application was denied by the administration. Has HPU violated the right to "Free Speech"? How is this case different than the Question 1? What if the administration simply said the demonstration must be held when no classes are in session?

Question 3. Doug is a resident of Maryland. While driving to NC for school, he gets into a car accident in VA with Sally. Sally is a resident of West Virginia. She was seriously injured and has been billed for over $400,000 for her hospital stay. Where can Sally sue Doug for causing the accident?
