Question 1: When you are learning new material, do I do anything to check that you have actually learned the material? For example, do you quiz yourself?

If yes, how do I judge that you have learned something and should move on to new material? For example, when you can recall a definition word-for-word? When you quiz yourself and get a certain amount correct?

If no, what do you do instead? For example, do you always devote X amount of time to studying the material? Do you always read the material X amount of times?

Question 2: Do you think you are good at knowing when you know something, and when you don't? For example, does how you feel after studying usually match up with how you perform (e.g., feeling, "I feel like I really know this stuff now!" matches with "I got a high mark on the test")? Or, does it not match (e.g., "I thought I did well, but I got a lower mark than I expected")?
