Question: Arber and Conner hypothesized that homeless children living in shelters became more introverted the longer they stayed in the shelter. To test this they used children between the ages of 8 and 12. The children were given a personality test when they first entered the shelter, again after three months in the shelter, and then after six months in the shelter. The introversion score on the personality test was compared at each time period.
