When aqueous solutions of sodium hydroxide, NaOH, and magnesium bromide, MgBr2, are mixed, a white precipitate is formed. If the precipitate is removed by filtration and the resulting clear solution is evaporated, white crystals are formed. What is the formula of this crystalline product?
