Question

HPI Jeff is an 8 y.o male. He presents to the pediatrician's office with c/o cough, wheezing and shortness of breath with activity. These symptoms started 1 day ago after he was playing outside. Jeff's grandmother states he was coughing and wheezing when he came in from playing. He denies fever and chills but is complaining of a stuffy nose. Jeff's grandmother states she heard him coughing a few times during the night. He is currently taking Claritin prn for seasonal allergies. Jeff lives with his grandmother, attends public school, and plays baseball. He says that sometimes when he is running his chest feels funny and he has trouble breathing.
