Sally is a 68 year old female that presented to her Primary Care office for her annual Visit. During the history taking with her primary care provider, she reports " wheezing" and coughing that is worse at night time. She reports that these symptoms typically occur at night time, especially when the "temperatures are cold". She also mentioned that she recently got a new cat, and noticed that her symptoms have become worse since she adopted the cat. She reports her symptoms occur at least once or twice a month. Sally mentions to the nurse practitioner, that she has a history of Asthma, but has not had any flare-ups for over twenty years. She is requesting medications to help make the symptoms better. In formulating a treatment plan for Sally, the nurse practitioner recognizes that :
