Scenario - You have developed an innovative product that you are sure will have a wide customer appeal and sell quickly, so you plan to start an online business that will rely heavily on your website.
Your product has been patented and your bank has approved your business plan to grantyou a 5-year loan of $2 million at 5% interest.
You project that your company won't break even for 2 years, but after that will be very profitable.
Assignment - Write a paper to specify what your product is and how you plan to use your website to advertise it, provide for the maximum number of visitors, convey a pleasing user experience, and handle all ordering and shipping to customers. There will be a secondary administrative webpage for ordering supplies, handling your inventory, shipping, and invoicing.
Categorize and total all costs for your business to include obtaining a domain name, obtaining a hosting company, hiring the necessary employees besides yourself, obtaining office space, furniture, and supplies, utilities, securing all the hardware and software you will need, and any other expenses you think you will need.
Be sure to list each type of employee you will need, their skills and anticipated role, and their suggested salary.
Don't forget that you need to be paying off the loan.
Your paper must a single Word or PDF file of at least 3 full pages of content, in APA Edition 7 format, not including a title page and References page. You may use an Excel spreadsheet to list and total your expenses, but the spreadsheet content must be included in your Word or PDF file vs. a separate file. You must have at least 3 sources, with the textbook being one of them. Be sure to properly cite your sources in the body of your paper.
