Congratulations! You have been successful in securing your paid internship as a trainee consultant at Warner & Spencer Consulting Firm.
Warner & Spencer work closely with large companies in Singapore. Your first major task is to research one (1) of the first 200 companies on the Fortune Global 500 company list.
You will be required to prepare a report synthesising the results from your research and present your findings in the form of a digital research report, using Warner & Spencer's company software Adobe Express.

Fortune Global 500
The Fortune Global 500 ranks the biggest companies worldwide.
To support its work with large companies, Warner and Spencer undertakes research on companies on the Fortune 500 list.
Your first major task is to choose one of the first 200 companies on the Fortune Global 500 list. This will be the focus of your digital research report. You must choose a company from this list and receive confirmation from your lecturer before proceeding with your research.
Read through the first 200 companies on the Fortune Global 500 list.
Choose one (1) company.
Notify your lecturer of your selected company and receive confirmation before proceeding with your research.
You will need to undertake research to assist you in formulating your response to each section of your digital report.
You should source information about your selected company from:
their website
annual reports
media releases
media articles
analysists' reports
general internet searches.
Ensure that you use reputable sources.
Your report should contain at least six (6) references from reputable sources - such as peer- reviewed journal articles, textbooks, industry reports, research reports and company annual reports. References such as Wikipedia and personal blogs are not considered as reputable sources.
Referencing
Your report must acknowledge all sources used and include correctly formatted in-text citations and a complete reference list using the RMIT Harvard referencing style.
Section: Self-reflection + Professional identity
At the base of your digital report, please provide a self-reflection and a professional headshot that is appropriate for work use.
When writing your self-reflection, focus on how it relates to your experiences, perceptions and professional life and identity.
Use the following list for ideas of what to include in your self-reflection:
Your perceptions of the course and the content.
Experiences, ideas, and observations you have, and how they relate to what you have learned during the semester.
What you found confusing, inspiring, difficult, interesting, and why.
Alternative interpretations or different perspectives you have on what you have read or done in your course.
How new ideas have challenged what you already knew.
What you need to explore next in terms of thoughts and actions.
What you will do differently in the future.
The impact on your professional life.
Your learning journal could be a good source of information.
It is suggested that you link your self-reflection to your digital portfolio.
