An Empathy Walk is a conversation with someone who shares one or more cultural differences with you. The interview allows you to step into their shoes and give you a cultural perspective through their eyes. You may select a person from any aspect of your life, professional, personal, or social. Try to learn enough about that person's world to get a feel for what it would be like to live in that person's culture. Conduct the interview with what you have learned regarding cultural intelligence. Make every effort to ask questions that are not influenced by your own bias or cultural perspective. You will present your findings from your interview in a 2 to 3 page paper. The paper should be- written in a first-person/reflective format.
